nZambi, the 'N' is silent

What's in a name?

OK, so there has been a bit of confusion about the Name I have chosen to release my Joomla! Extensions under... nZambi Ex.
Ex is easy; Extensions. nZambi? Well, the 'N' is silent... nZambi is pronounced zäm-bē, or to use a more contemporary term... Zombie! The mixed case representation (capitalizing the second letter) is my own stylization, as the word is usually a proper name and Capitalized on the first. Why nZambi? First of all, the reason it fits well with my work with the Joomla CMS. Joomla! (as you may or may not know) is the phonetic spelling for the Swahili word "Jumla," which means "all together" or "as a whole". [source] Nzambi comes from the Kikongo Language (a Bantu Language, like Swahilli, and from the same general area)  Its true meaning is tough to nail down, but it is generally accepted that it originates from the name of a the god of creation, [source] snake god, or other gods depending on the Language and area, then later with meaning "reanimated corpse" most notably used by some West African decedents in Haiti. This duality, "Reanimated Corpse" and "Creator", along with its origins in Africa (like Joomla!) appealed to me. I am creating. Maybe not Worlds and Peoples, but my extensions are creations. Also, some of my projects are stuff I have brought back to life as they are things that I worked on a couple years ago and have only recently come back to them. One big project I am working on (shhh... it is a secret) is quite literally trying to bring back a corpse.

But Wait! Is there more? Kinda... In my other life I run a small production company, Braineater Productions Inc with which I run a large Halloween Event near Victoria B.C. Braineater Haunted House! I admit, I have an affinity for Zombies!
